Wrapping text around objects in an image
While wrapping around the rectangular frame of an image is often all you need, it’s nice to be able to take text wrapping a bit further.
In this recipe, we will look at the recently updated Wrap around Object Shape feature, which is powered by Adobe Sensei, Adobe’s own AI and machine learning technology. This allows you to wrap text around a prominent subject in an image in just a few clicks. We will also take a look at how to create alpha channels from a Photoshop selection and then use this back over in InDesign to wrap text around that area. Additionally, we will look at fine-tuning our text wrap boundary, as well as adjusting the inset spacing, to get the result that we want.
Getting ready
