Wrapping text around images
When you are working in InDesign, you will often have text on a page as well as images, and they are each separate objects within their own frames. If you place these in the same area of the page, they will simply overlap each other with one sitting right on top of the other, and this can be unhelpful.
In this recipe, we are going to look at positioning your items above each other in the layer stack, automatically wrapping text around an image, and adjusting the settings for the text wrap to add offsets and fine-tune the Wrap To settings.
Getting ready
In order to complete this recipe, simply open InDesign on your system and create a new document with 12 pages, as shown in the Creating a new document recipe in Chapter 1. You should be comfortable adding images into your document, as shown earlier in the Placing images into InDesign recipe, as well as adding text, which was covered in the Creating text frames and adding placeholder text recipe found...
