Technical requirements

At the end of this chapter, you’ll find an automation simulation lab based on the Kubernetes platform. We want to ensure you leave this chapter with practical knowledge.

You will need the following for the lab:

• A laptop with access to the internet
• The syft CLI tool installed on your laptop
• The grype CLI tool installed on your laptop
• The Docker Desktop tool installed on your computer (you can create a free tier account here: https://hub.docker.com/)
