Creating New Spatial Data
In Chapter 4, Editing Existing Spatial Features, you learned about various methods and tools in ArcGIS Pro that you can use to update or change existing features stored in your GIS. Those are extremely useful as you work to keep your data current to reflect changes to those existing features. However, you will often encounter situations where you need to add completely new features to your GIS.
ArcGIS Pro contains a host of tools you can use to create new features. The tools you can use will depend on several things. The first is your license level.
