This means that we need to find quicker and more productive ways of farming. Land and resources are going to get scarcer as we keep moving toward 2050. This is when, given the resources, we would need to feed more mouths than ever before, unless a zombie apocalypse comes and all of us get eaten up by other zombies!
This is a very good opportunity for technology to provide solutions to make this happen. IoT has almost always been about smart homes, smart offices, and convenience, but it can do more than that.
