Summary
I have tried to cover the most relevant content related to a web proxy service in this chapter. The topic of web proxies could easily produce an entire book due to its complexity. Still, our goal in this book is to complement the existing documentation and share a little bit of experience of years working with network security and OPNsense. Now, you might be able to install and configure a web proxy service for small-to-medium networks using OPNsense. We have explored the basics, deployment methods, basic configuration and customization, enabling web filtering, and troubleshooting common issues. In the next chapter, we'll move on to another great OPNsense feature to control user access using web browsers: the Captive Portal. See you on the following pages!
