Chapter 6: Lists and Characters
Working with lists in Word can be overwhelming at times. In this chapter, we will explore creating and working with bulleted, numbered, and multilevel lists. You will learn how to define bullet and number formatting and apply that formatting to a list. We will also look at how to define a multilevel list and apply it before learning how to change list indents and renumber a list.
We will then move on to viewing word and character counts in a document. Knowing the word and character count of a document can help you understand things such as the readability of the document and how much space you are using. We will learn how to use the Word Count tool to do this.
