Chapter 2: Cloud Deployment Models and Services

In, Chapter 1, Introduction to Cloud Computing, we introduced cloud computing, along with some of its basic concepts and benefits, as well as real-life examples and use cases.

Now, we'll go a bit deeper by starting to examine the different types of cloud deployment models and cloud services that are available. We will cover three different deployment models: private, public, and hybrid. The goal is to understand the differences between the three, as well as the specific advantages of each. We will explore the three service model types and examine their differences and use cases. Specifically, we'll look at these industry-standard models and see that Microsoft has offerings that fit into each of those categories.

Then, we will discuss Microsoft 365 in greater depth. You'll be prepared to identify where Microsoft 365 fits into an organizational strategy from the perspective of both cloud deployment and cloud service...
