Adding artistic effects
Elements 2020 is heading the way of the smartphone. By this, I mean that the visual effects are increasingly thumbnail-driven. You open a file, have a look at a range of special effects on offer, choose one, and apply it to your snap by clicking on the thumbnail. Nothing could be easier, and while doing this doesn't educate you on how the effect is really achieved, it makes the process of enhancing your work simple, fast, and approachable for the majority of camera users, who don't want to spend hours in front of a screen.
A look is essentially a style that defines how a set of pictures might appear as a group. For example, they could all be sepia-tinted to give them an aged look, or they could be converted into black and white to give them a slightly different arty or even a documentary look.
