Managing backdrop assets
You don’t have to create textures, gradients, and patterns every time you need to utilize them; you can download and import them or store them in Creative Cloud Libraries.
Syncing your assets between devices
Photoshop recently added the ability to sync your user-created brushes, gradients, swatches, styles, shapes, and patterns, making them available wherever you log in with your Creative Cloud account:
- Go to Photoshop Preferences on macOS via Photoshop → Preferences → General, or on Windows, via Edit → Preferences → General. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl + K (Windows) or Cmd + K (macOS) to launch the preferences and reveal the General settings.
- Turn on the checkbox for Preset Syncing (A in Figure 9.14), and then click OK to exit Preferences, at which point you will see a message informing you that your assets will sync to Creative Cloud. This may take a few moments to complete, due to the potential file...
