Summary
Despite this book's scope not being about backend development, it is very important that the Magento frontend developer has a minimum understanding of how the Magento system complements the rendering of pages and how the interaction between backend and frontend works, and to have the minimum knowledge to aggregate more value to your project.
In this chapter, you saw how the UI Components module can be used in several layout proposals, and how it's possible to reuse the basic elements of data grid, forms, and actions involving a basic CRUD. You now also have knowledge of how the configuration files can help in the declaration of these elements in the layout proposal.
In the next chapter, the concepts of Magento 2 layout development for themes will be developed further.
