What is a container?

In this section, we're going to look at what containers actually are at a bit of a deeper level than we covered in the introduction.

We won't go into a huge amount of depth (because we'd get lost and have to call James Cameron to get us out), but we will touch on the core of what makes a container a container, and how it differs from running a full-fledged virtual machine.
