Summary
This chapter closes this introductory book to Shiny. Not only did it explain how to code an application from scratch, but also showed what the entire process is about. It does not make much sense to possess perfect programming skills when it comes to these kinds of applications and have no idea about the need that that the application is supposed to fulfill.
This chapter is conceived in the same way as the whole book is. It is not just coding that makes a good application developer, but it is also about thinking of the problem as a whole and consequently of the application as a tool for users with no technical knowledge (that is, the vast majority of the users) to unveil insights about the data they are analyzing. In the end, data visualization is just communication.
