In this chapter, we discussed a variety of practical topics, such as migration challenges and operational challenges. We also discussed some of the common questions and concerns where we may need to do some debugging and troubleshooting of Snort. It is infeasible to list and discuss all the problems that can occur with a complex system such as Snort. This is where the Snort community is useful. We discussed the various community mailing lists that may be of help for someone who is trying to learn about Snort.
As we conclude our discussion and exploration of Snort 3, we have covered quite a lot of modules, functionalities, configurations and experiments.
