Working with geospatial data will often require us to use a spatial file that delineates country borders, roads, railways, rivers, coastlines, and so on. Sometimes, it's hard to manage all of this data by yourself. Luckily, we can download free shapefiles or vector data and raster from a number of websites for free. Here are three such websites:
- Natural Earth (www.naturalearthdata.com/downloads/)
- DIVA-GIS (http://www.diva-gis.org/gdata)
- EarthExplorer (https://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/)
