Summary
In this chapter, we discussed the Edit tools and their fundamental workflows and modifier key uses in SketchUp Pro. The Edit tools allow for unlimited possibilities in SketchUp Pro, even without using extensions or plugins. Using the Edit tools effectively in their basic forms and with their different options allows for a greater understanding of the model you are attempting to create and requires you to stay on top of ensuring your model is watertight and oriented the correct way! Finally, we looked at creating Guides in our model with the Tape Measure and Protractor tools.
In order to take our models to the next level, we will next discuss view options in SketchUp Pro, examining how to best navigate our model while hiding, showing, and looking at our objects.
