Applying image effects
The next cluster of adjustments is collectively referred to as image effects. These are “filter”-like effects that are applied over an image as a whole and make qualitative or stylistic changes to it. The usage of these effects will get clearer as we proceed into this section.
Noise
As the name suggests, Noise works by applying a grainy static-like effect to your image. One such possible result is shown in the following screenshot:

The effect is applied by sliding your finger sideways on the screen. Both the Layer and the Pencil modes are available for it. As you can see in the previous screenshot, there are three distinct types of noise textures in the toolbar:
- Clouds: This is the coarsest texture, which looks like clouds when enlarged.
