Uninstalling plug-ins
When Final Cut Pro is launched, it automatically checks the compatibility of third-party plug-ins. If they aren’t compatible, you will see a message, as in Figure 12.37:

If updates aren’t available, you can uninstall the incompatible plug-ins until compatible versions are provided by the developer.
Manually uninstalling plug-ins
Developers of third-party plug-ins usually provide uninstallers to remove their plug-ins. Otherwise, you can uninstall them by quitting Final Cut Pro and then manually removing the plug-ins from one of the following locations on your Mac. I suggest you move them to another folder, at least temporarily, rather than trashing them immediately.
Check the following folders first:
Users/Movies/Motion Templates/Effects
Users/Movies/Motion Templates/Generators
Users/Movies/Motion Templates/Titles
Users/Movies/Motion Templates/Transitions...
