Chapter 4: Building a Check Point Lab Environment – Part 2

In this chapter, we will continue working on creating our Check Point virtual lab environment. With VirtualBox and VirtualBox extensions installed, a virtual router deployed, and the prerequisite software and installation media downloaded and placed in the predefined directories, we will proceed with the creation of the virtual machines (VMs). Both GUI and command-line deployment options will be presented.

We are going to cover the following main topics:

Creating a Windows base VM

Creating and preparing linked clones
