Sales Fulfillment Application deployment topology
As explained earlier, clustering provides scalability and failover capabilities. A cell can have zero or many clusters and can be distributed across one or more nodes in any configuration. For the Sales Fulfillment Application, JungleSea will adopt clustering to not only allow the above-mentioned benefits, but also to allow high throughputs, resiliency, and to provide space for future growth (per the NFRs listed in the earlier section). Typically, the selection of a right deployment topology should be based on the following criteria:
System resources
Invocation patterns in the solutions
Types of business processes implemented
CEI usage
Business rules usage
Future scalability needs
Administrative effort required
