Summary
In this chapter, we explored the myriad of options and features offered by the main Studio panels and managers. We discussed panel behavior and conventions and took a look at not only how the Color, Swatches, and Stroke panels operate but also how closely they are linked to one another. We discovered the Effects and Styles panels' ability to expand the appearance of our objects and design elements in exciting and fun ways, and we explored the Vector and Pixel Brushes panels, learning about their differences and strengths. From there, we looked into the text panels and the very many options that are available to us when working with type. We finally ended this chapter by taking a look at Affinity Designer's managers, which make up a big part of the practical side of this creative application.
