Chapter 16: Creating a Simple Swaying Animation Cycle in UE5 Sequencer
In the previous chapter, we made a Control Rig for our Robot Drone, but in this chapter, we're going back to our Alien Plant animation rig to animate it. The Alien Plant Control Rig was a simple forward kinematics (FK) setup, and it would be a good starting point to learn the basics of animating in Unreal Engine Sequencer (UE Sequencer). At this stage, we can start breathing life into our animatable characters and objects by making them move the way we want them to.
Animation is not simply making something move from A to B. It is a whole art form in itself and it takes a lot of practice to get really good at it. In this chapter, we will start with the basic building blocks to get you started.
