Answering questions about Auto Layout
UIKit is a vast topic, and over the years, it has become even more significant, gaining more and more capabilities.
The engine that drives how things are placed on the screen is what Apple calls Auto Layout, which is why I chose to start the UIKit chapter with that topic in mind.
Auto Layout is Apple technology that defines the relationships between the different elements on the screen and tremendously influences our ability to move fast with UI development. We can say that mastering Auto Layout sets us up with the ability to provide a great UI in a decent amount of time.
But there is more than just time efficiency – Auto Layout can help us adapt our app to different screen sizes or even platforms (iPad versus iPhone). It can also help us automatically set the UI direction according to the current localization.
