Conducting BRIA workshops for strategic alignment

BRIA workshops guide the work to enable business intelligence, helping professionals steer a proper course to achieve their business strategies, goals, and objectives. Based on the BRIDAI format, shown in Figure 10.2, these workshops are pivotal for decisions at both executive and operational levels.

As you can infer from the table, BRIDAI is an acronym that defines the work involved in the combined BRIA/QIDA process. We select a domain to support and identify the critical roles and the questions those folks need to be able to answer. From there, we determine the information they require to support the decisions they need to make. Ultimately, the BRIA workshop’s purpose is to have the right information to make informed decisions and to take responsive actions to achieve expected or desired outcomes.
