Part 2:Testing and Software Delivery
In this part, we discuss integrating that into the overall development picture. Exactly how testing fits into Scrum, for example, is something the authors of Scrum never really talk about. They did this intentionally, as the idea of scrum is that the people doing the work decide how to do it themselves. As Scrum got more popular and began to enter use for marketing, HR, and children’s chore lists, including technical how-to’s actually became less and less valuable. Yet it seems foolish to have every team reinvent the wheel for themselves. So, we wrote Part 2 first to describe the delivery models, then break down the testing of its component pieces, and re-assemble it to meet your delivery needs.
