Industry trends influencing S/4HANA adoption with RISE with SAP

We have walked you through the different stages of creating the business case and the importance of an iterative approach with both the internal and external stakeholders. One of the key ingredients that we touched upon was to have a clear view of the industry trends and best practices. To be able to support this requirement, it is important to understand the key industry trends and the impact they have on the market. In this regard, the Institute of Business Value (IBV) as part of a study performed in 2022 predicted businesses struggling when it came to the adoption of S/4HANA around various use cases, along with their impact on the business. The following figure summarizes the top five industry trends highlighted by the IBV study for clients globally:
