Creating and Managing Policy Packages in Teams
Policy packages in Microsoft Teams are used to assign collections of predefined policies to users. You can use the built-in set of policy packages available with Teams or create custom ones.
Important Note
Creating custom policy packages requires Teams Premium licensing.
Policy packages are supported by the following policy types:
- Messaging
- Meeting
- App setup
- Calling
- Town halls (Live events)
- Call park
- Teams
- Voice routing
- Caller ID
- Update
- Events
Exercise 3.3: Viewing the Available Policy Packages
In this exercise, you will look at the steps involved to view the available policy packages in the Teams admin center:
- From the left navigation menu, choose Policy packages, as shown in the following screenshot:
