Summary

This chapter covered a wide array of soft skills topics and I would like you to consider each of these areas concerning your strengths and weaknesses. Every one of us comes to the table with different attributes, levels, and skill sets, and being able to improve in the areas where we are not as strong is important. We made a bold statement in the beginning that soft skills were even more important than technical skills for the SE and regardless of whether you believe that or not, I am certain you will improve your abilities by sharpening your existing soft skills and, therefore, ultimately becoming a better SE.

Also, remember to factor in the breadth of skills and assess yourself on each of them individually. Just saying to yourself that you are generally good in this area is not the right way to approach things. Instead, find one or two ways to improve your calendaring skills. Then, you can look at your data organization and do the same. Looking at each soft skill area...
