Summary
In this chapter, we introduced the concept of Edge Flanges, which are some of the most commonly used features in SolidWorks Sheet Metal. After adding a basic Edge Flange, we saw how they can be adjusted by setting details like the bend angle, flange length, and position.
After that, we took a deeper dive into Edge Flanges, and we saw how more advanced options can open up the power of Edge Flanges by doing things like selecting multiple edges and editing flange profiles.
In Chapter 3, Getting Familiar with Basic Tools in Sheet Metal, we will continue building upon our knowledge and learn more of the everyday SolidWorks Sheet Metal tools.
