Understanding AI
AI refers to a human-like intelligence exhibited by a computer, robot, or other machines. It is the ability of a machine to mimic the capabilities of a human mind, learning from examples and experience, recognizing objects, understanding and responding to language, and using all these data points to make better decisions and help solve real-world problems.
AI is increasingly becoming part of our everyday lives, and this trend is only going to grow over the next few years. We can see AI in action, completing our words as we type them, providing driving directions to the nearest restaurant, recommending what we can eat, and even completing household chores such as vacuuming the house, and so on. As popular as it is, there is often some confusion in its terminology, and there is a tendency to use AI, ML, and deep learning (DL) interchangeably.
