Numbered accounts

Streets typically have names, right? Some cities have numbered streets. In Washington DC, for example, the North-South streets are numbered. In the NW part of the city, you have First Street at the US Capitol going up to 50th Street, on Massachusetts Avenue, past the Embassies, all the way up to near the Maryland state line.

GnuCash gives you the best of both worlds. You can have account numbers in addition to names.
