Pricing history and eviction rate details

Azure Spot instance prices are variable, based on region and SKU. To provide customers with some visibility, Azure provides the price history of the last 90 days. Use the pricing history details to select the right VM SKU and region where prices are stable and cheap.

To view the Spot VM pricing history, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Azure Portal.
2. Create a new VM with Run with Azure Spot discount checked:

3. Click on the View pricing history link and it will open up the pricing details page:

Here, you can see a price graph for the selected VM for three nearby regions. You can also switch the view to a table.

In the example, as you can see, the price increased at the end of October 2022 from $0.00773 to $0.00812 in Central US.
