Creating Job Aids
Job aids are similar to the modules of the Content Library but with a few key differences, as outlined here:
- Learners can access Job Aids without enrolling in a course.
- You may, however, link Job Aids to courses, but access to Job Aids is not dependent on any completion or success criteria.
- Job Aids can only be static content (documents, presentations, videos, and so on) and web links. Interactive content cannot be used as Job Aids.
You can think of Job Aids as cheat sheets or handouts, similar to those you receive at the end of conferences, briefings, or live classes. Learners can refer to job aids for quick reference when performing any activity or task.
The process of creating Job Aids is very similar to the process of creating modules in the Content Library. Let’s review it using the following steps:
- Make sure you are logged in as an Author and that you are on the Author home page.
