Summary

In this chapter, you were introduced to the actions and the app’s sync behavior. You learned about system actions and different action types: app actions, data change actions, external actions, and grouped actions. You also learned about the important settings required for configuring actions.

Among the data change actions, you were introduced to the four different data change actions. In navigation actions, we saw how deep link expressions allow you to create more specific navigation behaviors, such as filtered views, opening prefilled forms, or navigating to a different AppSheet app. You also learned how you can export data in CSV format to an app and import data in CSV format from the app.

Finally, you were introduced to the sync settings of an app that will enable an app to get data from and store data to the app’s data sources properly. You also learned how you can manage an app’s offline behavior.
