VMware vSAN is a key component of the VxRail system. It can automatically build up a local vSAN datastore across the VxRail cluster during VxRail initialization. VMware vSAN can provide different features based on your choice of vSAN license editions on the VxRail cluster – for example, Standard edition, Advanced edition, and Enterprise edition.
