Displaying Audio Waveforms ( also known as Sample Plot)
Note that in earlier releases of Media Composer, Audio Waveforms were referred to as Sample Plot and that the display-type called Energy Plot has been removed.
It is also helpful to know that if you have audio with mismatched Sample Rates (meaning that a Clip's audio does not match the Project's Sample Rate as set in the Audio Project Settings), that those waveforms will be displayed as light grey, rather than black.
