What you need for this book

For this book, you will require previous knowledge of the Android platform, APIs, and the application development process. You will also need to set up your work environment to have at least the following:

• Android Studio, which can be downloaded from https://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
• The latest Android SDK tools and platforms. Make sure that you upgrade to the latest versions and add the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) platform if it's missing
