Summary
This chapter was the second part touching on color. We learned some advanced color techniques to further our understanding not only of Photopea, but also of color theory more broadly that can be applied to just about any image editing program.
We learned how to colorize a black and white image using Color Fill layers, masks, layer blend modes, and other non-destructive adjustment layers on our images. In the process, we also learned how to convert a color image to black and white using the Image Adjustments feature.
Next, we learned how to replace a particular color using the Eyedropper tool in conjunction with the Color Picker and Image Adjustments windows to replace colors very quickly.
In addition to that, we learned a different approach to replacing color using the Color Replacement brush. We discovered how to replace a color by adding brush strokes over an object or a section of an image, similar to using a standard Round or Soft Brush tool, without the need for...
