CIO and CISO Interview Tips
The interview process is unavoidable and is a necessary stage to pass through for the dream CIO or CISO role that you covet. There can be frustrations with how slow this can be and it can take place in a protracted or seemingly uncoordinated manner. Keep this as a mental note for when you are the CIO or CISO, and consider how you might want to run the interview and selection process. I’ve found it to be useful to put myself in the shoes of the candidate, and this has become part of my brand. Being transparent, responsive, and honest in the interview process sends a clear message about how I normally operate. In my experience, candidates get a flavor of what it would feel like to work for me.
