Introduction
All throughout this book, we have been looking at numerous techniques to configure and manage Salt and its components. However, like all other systems, breakdowns can and do happen with Salt. The procedures to troubleshoot and handle them should always be known by an engineer.
In this chapter, we will look at some possible problems and issues that may occur in a Salt environment, the methods to identify them, possible options to fix them, and making sure that the problem is handled for good.
