Summary
In this chapter, we explored the various technologies currently being used by industries and researchers to realize the hardware of a quantum computer on which you can run your quantum operations. You will now be able to analyze the challenges involved in the making of a real quantum computer and understand how hard it is to make the quantum states coherent for an extended duration without any interaction from the environment.
Upon completion of this chapter, we also conclude Part 1 of this book, which enabled you to gain some background knowledge and motivation to aid you in studying the further chapters in the upcoming parts. In the next chapter, we will start diving into the challenges faced by quantum communities in quantum computer programming.
