EDM
An EDM is a kind of integration model that includes all of an enterprise’s data—well, most of it. Enterprise-wide conceptual, logical, or physical data models may be included in your enterprise architecture. An EDM is a representation of every data entity and relationship found in an organization’s whole data structure. It connects an organization’s technical and business understanding of its data and is used as a global view of all data. An organization’s strategic data requirements are outlined and standardized by an EDM. It provides a comprehensive and unified perspective of the data within the company to facilitate data governance, reporting, and strategic planning.
