Implementation of training


As mentioned previously, an important factor for success of the UC pilot was adequate training for pilot users, end users, train the trainer program, management/executives, and other special users. Not only in the pilot phase of a project but also as a permanent available resource in the UC training portal where it is available anytime. Other great options are one page description for all types of users, training for administrators, and IT-specialists, recorded mini videos that demonstrate all major features of the UC solution, and extended documentation on the internal SharePoint website. Successful UC projects always have shown a successful training plan and onboarding list of employees for the new UC solution. Another good idea is to implement a recurring "UC" newsletter in the company on how the organization benefits for the new technology and what the progress, rollout, and roadmap looks like for unified communications at Contoso.
