Road Warrior Fundamentals
Hearing the term road warrior may seem rather strong and probably brings up images in your mind of Mad Max (a Mel Gibson series of movies) in a post-apocalyptic world. If you speak to people who travel quite a bit for a living, they might even joke that sometimes, when things are not going right, they actually feel they are living in that movie. However, being a road warrior is for the most part a great experience and one that as a sales engineer (SE) you will master if you follow the best practices that are laid out in this chapter.
