Summary

In this chapter, you learned about some of the more advanced things you can do with your portfolio. Specifically, you saw how to set up your Site Preferences, which allows you to edit parts of your portfolio such as your own username and password. You also started managing your notifications, learning how to edit where you want your notifications to go to and what you want to receive notifications for. You learned about the watchlist, what it is and why you would use it as well as adjusting you own activity preferences. Finally you exported your portfolio into a couple of different formats to allow you to both display it in a web browser or to upload it to a different Mahara system.

In the next chapter, we will be looking at some advanced roles in Mahara, including institutional administrators, staff members, and group tutors.
