Integration tools, midleware, and scenarios

In the earlier topics, we learned various integration concepts and technologies applicable to Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition. Using RESTful APIs and OData service, any third-party application can directly integrate with Finance and Operations. However, system-to-system integration is not a preferred option as it leads to direct dependency between systems. Also, if your operation is deployed on the cloud and integrating application is on-premise, you have to use some middleware or integration broker applications.
