In this chapter, you learned about what constitutes unified communications and telephony and what telephony options are parts of Sametime 8.5.2. You learned about the SUT product, as well as how Sametime 8.5.2 connects to various telephony products under different configurations. This includes point-to-point and multi-point audio and video calls, web conferencing in Sametime meetings, and client-side plugins. You learned how server-side adaptors are used to connect to various telephony systems. You learned how your users can add audio and video to their Sametime client preferences. Finally, you learned about the options for configuring your Sametime Meeting Center to include audio and video calls.
