Summary
In this chapter, we set out to understand how to do visual testing and its importance, as well as the viewports and tools we can use to carry out automated visual testing. This involved understanding how to create viewports, how to test on different viewports, and also why we need automated visual tests to run on multiple viewports. We then explored two testing tools, Percy and the Applitools Eyes SDK, and extensively covered their use cases, their setup processes, and how to write Cypress tests using them. Finally, we worked on some exercises to improve our familiarity and interaction with these tools.
With that, we have come to the end of this book. If you have been consistently reading all the chapters in this book, I am confident that you have more Cypress knowledge than you started out with. I hope that this book has challenged the way you think, made you develop a love for Cypress...
