Adjusting images versus frames
In this recipe, we are going to look at the difference between the image and the frame it sits in. We will be using the Selection and Direct Selection tools on your images, as well as enabling and working with the Content Grabber feature.
Getting ready
In order to complete this recipe, simply open InDesign on your system and create a new document with 12 pages, as shown in the Creating a new document recipe in Chapter 1. You should be comfortable adding images to your document, as shown in the previous recipe, Placing Images into InDesign.
How to do it…
In order to adjust the images and their frames within your document, follow these steps:
- Create a rectangle frame in the middle of your document. Then, with the frame selected, go to File then Place, and insert an image into the frame.
