Generating and Updating a Table of Contents
One of the advantages of working in InDesign is that it contains advanced functionality that can be used to automate otherwise slow and laborious tasks, and creating a Table of Contents is a good example of this. By using Paragraph Styles carefully and consistently, you can generate a Table of Contents that can be easily updated, styled, and even reused in other InDesign documents.
